Nick Herrin is the Adidas Athletics President, the 17U scout Head Coach, the 16U scout assistant coach and the 14u Herrin Head Coach. Herrin was the hitting coach at Harris-Stowe State University for three years and he is currently an assistant coach at Southwestern Illinois College. He runs baseball operations within the program and also serves as a counselor for upper class-men as they consider their college baseball opportunities. As a coach, Herrin believes strongly in player accountability. He pushes for a baseball environment that is relaxed but focused on competing and improving. Herrin graduated Maryville University in 2015 with a B.A. in Strategic Communication.
Chief Operating Officer
Logue is the COO and owns part of Athletics. He handles uniform operations and runs several elements of the club on the business end. Logue specializes in working with infielders and pitchers and is the head coach of the 15u Scout Team.
In 2015, Logue graduated with a B.A. in Accounting from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. He is also one of the Surge's top pitching instructors.
Denton grew up in St. Louis, MO, and attended CBC high school. He went on to attend Rockhurst University and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management and a Business Certificate. Next, he achieved his MBA in Management from Rockhurst University.
Denton is employed by the Houston Astros, developing the strength and athleticism of players in their organization.
Denton has taken his background and education in business, and the connections he's made through baseball and focuses on giving his athletes everything they need to play at the next level.
Head of Player Development
After graduating from Westminster High School, Buffa took his background in baseball and Weightlifting and went on to Missouri State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science. While there, he spent time working with the MSU Strength and Conditioning Staff, until he eventually started his first athletic development program as a Junior in college. Since starting that program, he has had the opportunity to work with numerous high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, and formerly served as the Strength & Conditioning coach for Jefferson College. Buffa has a specialty in anatomy and human movement that allows him to simultaneously prioritize injury prevention and increasing strength, speed, and power.

Matthew handles many of the day to operations of the club. Matthew has been coaching baseball for nearly a decade and he also handles the media and website for the Athletics.
Director, Baseball Administration
LaFentres has been coaching in the St. Louis area for a long time, and at one point ran his own high school team/club called the River City Hawks. LaFentres works to help young players overcome adversity and be winners when it comes to the mental side of baseball. LaFentres believes youth baseball should be used to teach life-lesson. These life-lessons teach young players to deal with their emotions appropriately and that player development and improvement is more important than winning. LaFentres is a retired Army Veteran, Warrant Officer.
Director Of Communications
As club director Andrew Perry handles many of the day to day operations. Andrew specializes on youth baseball and also coaches high school basketball.
Luke serves as the recruiting coordinator. Luke has helped countless players in the area advance to play collegiately and is one of the most well-connected coaches in the area. Miller is also an assistant coach at St. Charles CC.
Director of Hitting Development
Tabor is in his fourth year with the Adidas Athletics. Matt has coached several different age groups for the Athletics. He specializes in working with hitters, taking an analytical and technical approach towards to aid their development.
Coach Roché has coached with the club since 2016, has had both youth and high school teams. Specializes in teaching hitting, enjoys incorporating technology into his teachings primarily as a way of tracking progress and taking the guess work out of instruction.
Nick is a 4 year college pitcher at Heston College and Harris Stowe State and the Adidas A’s primary pitching-lesson instructor. He served as pitching coach at St. Louis CC- Meramec during the 2019 season.
